I hopped on a ferry from Boston early on a Saturday morning last month, to photograph Kevin and Anthony’s wedding at a beautiful home in Provincetown, Ma.
We headed right to the waterfront for photos in locations that the couple enjoy visiting when they are in town.

Olivia and Bret live together in Washington, DC.
Although they went to high school together, they were far from high school sweethearts – despite belonging to the same class of only 75 students, they didn’t speak until their graduation day! A short romance followed and then years later, after they had both graduated from college, they found themselves at the same party on Christmas Eve.
The rest is history!
Olivia’s dress was designed by Monique Lhuillier, shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo.

Kay and Gary met at Boston University while they were both getting their Masters back in 2006.
Kay recounts; “We became friends immediately, but started dating after Gary ‘kidnapped’ me. A group of us were going out for sushi, but I tried to back out. Gary showed up at my place and made me go—but no one else was there! That was our first date and it ended with quoting movies and eating Swedish fish”.
I met this awesome couple last year when they were planning their wedding, and we recently had a really fun engagement session at the Arnold Arboretum to get them comfortable with the camera for their wedding photographs.
They did almost all of the wedding planning themselves with help from Alison Majka at the Lenox Hotel.
We had a beautiful day in Boston for a wedding, with a gorgeous view from the bridal suite.

Amelia and James met online via a dating site called eHarmony and had their first date on Hanover st. in the North End of Boston. You may remember them from the freezing cold engagement session I did with them in and around the North End earlier this year. Check out those photos here.
This fun & creative couple did most of the planning for the wedding themselves, and included touches from each of their cultures to produce a beautiful and memorable day.
Rings for the couple were custom made in Boston with both Polynesian and Celtic design.
James and his brother John adjust ties at the Nantasket Beach Resort where they spent the night before the wedding.
With her dress hanging in the background, Amelia gets the finishing touches to her makeup by Francesca Bianco a freelance makeup artist who also works at Adara Spa, in the North End owned by Amelia.
