Last weekend I headed to Newbury, Masachusetts and met with Rich and Amanda to take some photos of the two of them and Amanda’s baby bump.
What a treat when I found out we were going to Martin Burns Wildlife Management Area. I often ask couples to chose the location for the shoot so that they will feel more comfortable, and this was a great choice.
Here are a few shots from the session.

William and Juliet were married at Pohogonot Farm, a family owned property on Martha’s Vineyard.
The weekend began with a rehearsal dinner of Lobster and steamers catered by Juliet’s brother Peter.

Kay and Gary are an awesome couple with a wedding coming up VERY soon. Since they are both teachers, it was difficult for them to find time for an engagement shoot until the end of the school year.
We got together on a sweltering day last week at the Arnold Arboretum to take a few photos.
I think it is important to shoot photographs at a location that has some meaning to the couple, so when they look back at the photos, they don’t feel awkwardly posed in a strange place.
Kay and Gary spend sots of time here, so it was perfect.

Between woodworking and photographing for clients, I haven’t had the time lately to enjoy one of my favorite places in the city, Mt Auburn Cemetery. With a few hours between appointments today, I headed over to see what I could find.
